Get yer jump rings here

Journal Entry: Sun May 4, 2008, 4:04 PM
  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: Beatles - White Album
  • Watching: pretty, shiny rings!
I've opened up a new Etsy shop specifically for my rings!

It's much more organized, with lots of pictures and vital stats on the rings. Things are mostly the same as they were before, with a few changes to the sizing system. I'm still carrying the same sizes I have in the past (plus a lot more!), but I've changed the names a bit for my own sanity. One other change is that I'm now selling by the troy ounce, as opposed to by the 100.

I'm also expanding the metal range I carry to:
Copper
Bronze
Nickel silver
Red brass
Yellow brass
Stainless steel
titanium (coming soon!)

If you like aluminum, check my clearance section in a day or two for a few 43's and 55's. I'm no longer carrying it and am getting rid of my current stock at a heavy discount!

check it out the next time you need to buy some rings for your maille masterpieces!

Your corsets are amazing too.

 no offense ;-) each to their own :) beadwork does have a delicate look :) and sadly more often then not it is crap quality. its a shame the market is flooded with those. i like metal too btw. not a look you can veign with beadweaving :)

Oh I didn't mean that from personal experience. It's just a general preference toward metals :) Regardless, you do beautiful work

mmm exactly the believe ive been trying to beat out of people for centuries now... beadwoven goodies totally last their lentgh in time and stay gorgeous. its the cheap imports that ruin it all for us beadweavers. somehow people have started to think thats the quality standard... but truly my beadwoven pieces from 16 years ago (they are crappy for i was only 8 LOL) i still have today LOL

It's mostly a tactile thing, but fragility is an issue for me too. Not that I'm saying beadwork is delicate, more that I just prefer working in metal which is something that will withstand heavy use for centuries. I didn't mean that in a design sense :)
