This country is capable of two or three decently informed national arguments at a time, and you're using one of them on what even Senator McCain has called a "bogus argument"? Do you even understand what you are doing? Yes yes, I know that you're trying to frame this next election in a way that strips as many votes from Obama as possible, and thanks to the Evangelicals and Tea party your factually inaccurate arguments are believed intensely by many extremists around the country. I'm talking about the larger picture here:
"Each State to Honor all Others"
Article 4, section 1 of the Constitution states that "Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof."
Every state in the union must recognize each other's official documents. Because Obama's certificate of live birth is the only recognized certificate distributed by Hawaii, irrespective of other states' official preferences to question it means questioning the citizenship of every Hawaiian and the legitimacy of Hawaii itself as a state. I doubt this is an argument the Tea party could possibly leave alone - what if this were to continue beyond the elections? Two or three national debates. That's all we've got at one time, and with all the other issues demanding swift and well-informed national attention we cannot afford to indulge in this trivial and purely political farce.
For a "brilliant" man and billionaire, you sure are acting like a stupid douche, and all for a little bit of political capital. Asshole.
